For $26 you also get both versions of the game, Java and Win10 (Bedrock). The Win10 version is $10 by itself, so you're really only paying $16 for Java. Plus they don't charge for updates, so that $26 expenditure is a one-time deal instead of every 2-3 years like most Grade A titles (World of Warcraft, Starcraft, etc).

What? I don't know what this is supposed to mean, none of my mobs changed look..

In 1.6[edit]
When beta 1.6 comes out, the maps in it. Will they be like a radar mini map (like the mini map mod), or like you put it in your inventory and you use it like you would a clock or compass? I have been asked by several friends and I was just wondering so I can give them the right answer.

Full game = pay again?[edit]
I payed 14.95 Euro for Beta about 1 month ago (version 1.6 or 1.7). The information here says something along the lines of: 'pre-Beta (Alpha) players do not have to pay for any major/future updates - this is removed in Beta.'
The pre-order site says, 'You will also get the full version of Minecraft when it is released,' but then vaguely states the opposite in the support section (Support > Account > Premium > What is a Premium account?): ' [..] you get access to the full game as well as every future version until the release.'
I'm assuming the full game is a major update and I will have to pay again since I did not buy Alpha. Is this true - will I have to buy Minecraft again, once it's released?

Does this mean that full game updates will cost beta purchasers money?[edit]
What version is minecraft on. The page about the beta on this wiki says: 'As well as some minor updates, the transition from Alpha saw a 50% price increase (therefore making the cost 25% off the full price), a change in the disclaimer (Notch removed the line that said 'all future updates will be provided free of charge', though the statement still applies to users who bought Minecraft before Beta was released. Although beta purchasers will get the full game but it is not guaranteed) and minor updates to the main website.'The removal of the phrase 'all future updates will be provided free of charge' and the inclusion of the word 'minor' next to updates makes me wonder if beta purchasers will have to pay to get major updates for the full game.If you have any further information, not speculation, on who will need to pay for what, please respond.
Another quote I found on the FAQs page on minecraft.net 'First and foremost you get access to the full game as well as every future version until the release.'Given all this, things aren't looking to good for us beta purchasers.

I don't think that should be listed as a version of Beta, because it isn't. In fact, it's a release candidate. That's not an actual beta version or a version of Minecraft Beta. If anything, it should have 1.9pre6 as the latest beta version. Thoughts? --Nerfman100 20:48, 15 November 2011 (UTC)
it's a sorta beta version of the full release so in my opinion it should be there--ReLiFeD Minecraft 2 game.
